Today's effort. Playing around with a few effects.
This picture caused me a hell of a lot of frustration today. I’d been working on it for about 3 hours, saving regularly, and then I shut down my laptop whilst I went to fetch my youngest daughter from school. When I got back, I fired up the laptop, went to open the file - and it crashed every graphics package I tried to load it into. GIMP, Krita, MyPaint, Photoshop - you name it, it crashed it. At some point either during that final save or whilst shutting down the laptop the file got corrupted. 3 hours’ work, gone, just like that. So I had to start over again pretty much from scratch, and this was the final result. Only this time I learned my lesson - I backed this one up to TWO different files, so if one got corrupted I’d have a back-up. Not going to make that mistake again.

Did Krita give you a crash report when it went down? We <3 reproducible, crasher bug reports! If you post a bug report over at bugs dot kde dot org with a link to the file that crashes Krita, chances are it'll be fixed in no time.
